The upcoming Mahindra S101 / XUV100 has been spotted once again. This time the rear end of the car is seen wearing no camouflage whatsoever.

The S101 was spotted during a shoot for an advertisement. Varun Dhawan is reported to be the brand ambassador for the car. The shoot was being conducted at Carter Road, Bandra in Mumbai and the car had a dog in the passenger seat.

The spotter claims that the front of the S101 is inspired by the Range Rover Evoque with mini Scorpio-like claws on the grille. He tried to click the front as well, but it turned out to be totally blurred.

The S101 is seen in an orange colour with wraparound tail lamps, a curved rear windshield with a rear wiper and a hatch with an integrated rear spoiler. It has a character line that runs from the rear door to the rear panel and onto the hatch. The B pillar of the car is blacked out, the wheel arches are flared and the rear door handles are located in line with the rear windows like the Chevrolet Beat. The bumper has reflectors / rear fog lamps at both ends with chrome accents. Its lower portion is black. The car is seen riding on multi-spoke alloy wheels.

The S101 is likely to be powered by 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines. A 5-speed manual and an automated manual transmission are likely to be available as gearbox options.
