Scoop! Next-gen Porsche Panamera caught testing in India

The next-gen Panamera is expected to be offered with V6, V8 and plug-in hybrid powertrains.

The next-generation Porsche Panamera is expected to make its global debut by the end of this year. The car's India launch is also on schedule as a prototype has arrived at ARAI, Pune.

The test mule of the new Panamera was spotted on Paud Road, heading towards ARAI. As you can see from the spy image, the car has been fitted with emissions testing equipment.

The third-generation Panamera is expected to get several updates while retaining its signature design. It will feature evolutionary updates with subtle tweaks to the front and rear. The interior will also receive several updates, including the latest tech.

The new Panamera is expected to be powered by the updated versions of its twin-turbocharged 2.9-litre V6 and 4.0-litre V8 engines, paired with mild-hybrid tech. A heavily revised plug-in hybrid powertrain could also make it into the flagship variant.
