Scoop! Nissan Magnite spotted undisguised for the first time

The Nissan Magnite drops its camouflage in the latest spy image.

The Nissan Magnite has been spotted completely undisguised for the first time, ever since it was showcased in concept form. The car was spotted at a petrol pump in Thane.

The Nissan Magnite is a sub-4 meter crossover based on the CMF-A+ platform. It has the same architecture that underpins the Renault Triber. The test car has a dual-tone exterior with a white roof. It has dual-tone alloy wheels and the rear bumper has a large silver insert. It has 'Magnite' lettering on the tailgate and tail lamp clusters that appear similar to those on the Triber. The variant badges along with the Nissan logo have been masked off.

On the inside, the Magnite is expected to get a touchscreen infotainment head-unit among other features. Note that the car has adjustable headrests for the rear seats as well.

Nissan hasn't revealed any technical details of the Magnite yet, however the car's higher variants could be powered by a 1.0-litre, turbocharged petrol engine, while lower variants might get a naturally aspirated 1.0-litre unit.

The Nissan Magnite is rumoured to be launched by end-2020.
