Skoda Kushaq Onyx Edition launched at Rs 12.39 lakh

Skoda has launched the Kushaq Onyx Edition in India. The new special edition version is positioned between the base Active and mid-spec Ambition Classic trim and costs Rs 12.39 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Kushaq Onyx Edition gets a few cosmetic changes on the outside. It has Onyx-designed side foils, 16-inch steel wheels with wheel covers and ‘Onyx’ badges on the B-pillars.

Inside, the SUV gets automatic climate control with Air Care function, Onyx-inscribed cushions and textile mats as standard. The car has a dual-tone interior with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 6-speaker audio system, height adjustable driver’s seat, and a rear wiper and defogger.

The Kushaq Onyx Edition is available with a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that makes 113 BHP @ 5,000-5,500 rpm and 178 Nm @ 1,750-4,500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. There’s no automatic transmission option on this car.
