Tata Safari facelift spotted testing in Indore

Tata is likely to introduce ADAS in its flagship SUV range.

The Tata Harrier and Safari are due for an update. We know this, thanks to the numerous prototypes that have been testing all over India over the past few months. One such test mule was recently spotted in Indore.

BHPian manaljain has snapped the updated Tata Safari as it was being put through its paces on the city streets. The front fascia of the car doesn’t appear to have changed much. It features a chrome grille with LED daytime running lights on either side and the familiar bumper design housing the headlamp and fog lamp pods.

The interior of the updated Safari is expected to be identical to the outgoing version. This particular test mule is equipped with a panoramic sunroof and much like the current model, it has the same floating touchscreen infotainment system. That being said, Tata is likely to introduce ADAS in its flagship SUV range.

The new Tata Safari will carry forward the same 2.0-litre diesel engine producing 168 BHP and 350 Nm and will be offered with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Thanks to BHPian manaljain for sharing these images with other enthusiasts!
