Updated Aprilia SR 160 spied ahead of launch

It is being anticipated that the updated Aprilia SR 160 would come equipped with a new fully digital instrument cluster that is likely to be borrowed from the Aprilia SXR 160.

The updated Aprilia SR 160 has been spied at what seems to be a dealership yard. Two units of the upcoming scooter have been caught on camera.

The updated Aprilia SR 160 would come with a full-LED headlight accompanied by LED DRLs on either side. The design of the headlight and the front apron would be tweaked for a sportier look.

The scooter would also feature new graphics and colour options. The seat would be revised, too. It is being anticipated that the updated Aprilia SR 160 would come equipped with a new fully digital instrument cluster that is likely to be borrowed from the Aprilia SXR 160.

The updated Aprilia SR 160 is likely to have the same 160.03cc, single-cylinder, 3-valve engine that powers the outgoing model. Other features would include a pair of telescopic front forks, 14-inch alloy wheels, front disc and rear drum brake, single-piece pillion grab rail.

While Aprilia is yet to announce the official launch date of the updated SR 160, it is being said that the company could introduce the scooter during the upcoming festive season.
