A heavily modified Nissan GT-R supercar-turned-dragster recently attended a drag-racing event at the Texas Motorplex, Texas, USA.
The Nissan GT-R, apart from the engine upgrades, also has numerous exterior updates, which include the mandatory drag radials, a massive rear wing, and a parachute at the rear. The car also gets extensive modifications to its body, which is finished in matte black.
The result is an extremely impressive quarter-mile time of 6.5 seconds from a standing start. Another impressive feat is that the modified Nissan GT-R took a mere 1 second to sprint from 0-60 mph (0-97 km/h) and reached a top speed of 370 km/h during the quarter-mile run. This potentially makes it the world's fastest Nissan GT-R.
