Volkswagen Polo AllStar Edition priced at Rs. 7.51 lakh

Volkswagen has priced the Polo AllStar Edition in India at Rs. 7.51 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai for the petrol version), which translates to a premium of around Rs. 30,000 over the standard car. The AllStar Edition will be offered in both - petrol and diesel versions and is based on the top-end Highline trim level. The diesel variant is priced at Rs. 9.07 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai).

Cosmetic updates on the outside include new 15-inch, multi-spoke alloys, AllStar badging on the B-pillars and a new Silk Blue body colour. On the inside, the car gets rear AC vents, adjustable driver-side armrest, AllStar badging on the scuff plates and metallic finish pedals. The seats get new upholstery with a prominent stripe running down the centre.

The Polo AllStar is powered by a 1.2-litre, MPI petrol engine that develops 73 BHP and 110 Nm, and a 1.5-litre TDI diesel rated at 88 BHP and 230 Nm. Both the engines are mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The AllStar edition is not being offered on the GT variants.
