Volkswagen Polo and Vento get more features

In September 2015, Volkswagen updated the Polo with features like electric foldable door mirrors, cruise control and a cooled glovebox. To keep up with the competition, VW has now equipped the Polo and Vento with more features such as a new touchscreen infotainment system, rain-sensing wipers and an auto dimming interior rear view mirror.

The new touchscreen infotainment system features mirror link connectivity as well as a phone book and SMS viewer.

With feature-rich competitors like the Elite i20 and Baleno in the hatchback segment and the Ciaz and City in the sedan segment, the Polo and Vento are surely facing the heat, collectively selling a paltry ~3,000 units month after month (average of last 6 months).

The updated Polo is priced between Rs. 5.33 - 8.90 lakh ex-showroom Delhi and the Vento is priced between Rs. 7.85 - 12.13 lakh ex-showroom Delhi. The updated cars will be seen at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo.
