What is the right price for a 2020 BMW 320d

I have been quoted 51L OTR for a late 2020 (as per VIN) car with 3K on Odo. It is a BMW 320D Luxury edition.

BHPian Gsynch recently shared this with other enthusiasts.

Need some advice here.

I have been quoted 51L OTR for a late 2020 (as per VIN) car with 3K on Odo. It is a BMW 320D Luxury edition. List price OTR is 59L. Is it a fair price?

Here's what BHPian akash_v12 had to say on the matter:

Is the 320D a demo car? I wouldn't touch it with a pole if it was one. Even though it has just 3K km, I don't know how the car has been driven and what is the level of abuse on the car. If it isn't the TD Car, confirm why it has 3K on the odo and ensure that the car has been serviced once, before accepting the deal at ₹51L OTR.

Here's what BHPian TRANSAM had to say on the matter:

For the 3 Series, you can bid 45/46L if its a demo car. They had a couple of them up for grabs last week, one sold for 46 or thereabout (informed by a close friend).

Here's what BHPian Gotham_City had to say on the matter:

In my opinion, any thing more than 49 Lacs for 320D will be stretching it. Used vehicles (however sparingly) have to retail 15-20% lower to make commercial sense.

Here's what BHPian sampadroy had to say on the matter:

If it's indeed a Demo Car, 51L OTR is way too high and I wouldn't even think of spending that much. I would hardly shell out 44L max for such a car and I would ask you the same, too. Honestly, if the dealer doesn't budge, better to stay away from this deal because it won't make any financial sense to pay a single rupee more for a MY2020, 3K already done, demo 320d.

In just a few months and especially in the year-end months, you'll be able to get a brand new 330i Sport at a lot cheaper price than this, OTR, all-inclusive! The "good old discounts" and higher scopes of negotiations will kick in as soon as the pent-up demand in the market clears out and the stock availability situation improves. Better to wait and take a plunge for the 330i Sport in Nov/Dec. Having personally driven the 330i Sport, can tell you for sure that it's a MAD MACHINE.
