XLRI Delhi launches automobile design & management courses

The Masters in Automobile Design and Management will be a 1-year postgraduate course.

XLRI Delhi-NCR has launched the Indian School for Design of Automobiles (INDEA) to offer post-graduate courses in automobile design and management.

INDEA has been established in collaboration with an XLRI alumnus and Avik Chattopadhyay, an automotive industry professional. It will be operational by the end of 2025.

The Masters in Automobile Design and Management will be a 1-year postgraduate course for students who have a bachelor’s degree in engineering. The curriculum will include workshops, project reviews, industry interactions, global networking and overseas project opportunities. 20-25 students will be selected via a screening process each year.

INDEA will also offer refresher courses for practising designers, inductions and opportunities for professionals. The institute also plans to launch a course in Automobile Restoration in the future.
