Yamaha Fazer 250 spotted without camouflage

The Yamaha Fazer 250 has been spotted without any camouflage. The motorcycle is essentially a fully faired bike based on the FZ25.

The bike seen here has a satin red and gold finish. The fairing looks rather bulky and somewhat odd. The headlight appears to have has been carried over from the FZ25 and is integrated into the front end flanked by faux-vents. Some of the features of the Fazer 250 include a strip of LED lights located below the headlamp, LED turn indicators, an LED tail light, digital dashboard, split seats, alloy wheels with disc brakes at the front and rear, a telescopic fork suspension at the front and a monoshock suspension at the rear.

The Fazer 250 is expected to use the same 250cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine as the FZ25. This engine delivers 20.6 BHP @ 8,000 rpm and 20 Nm of torque @ 6,000 rpm. With the additional bulk of the fairing, the new Fazer 250 is expected to be slightly heavier than the FZ25 and more expensive as well.
