Ferrari has launched the 488 GTB in India at an ex-showroom Delhi price of Rs. 3.88 crore. The 488 GTB makes its way to India a little over a year after the car was revealed globally.
The supercar is powered by a 3.9-litre, twin-turbo V8 petrol engine that produces 661 BHP @ 8,000 rpm and 760 Nm of torque at 3,000 rpm. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels by a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox. The grunt is claimed to be enough to propel the 488 GTB from 0-100 km/h in 3 seconds, while 200 km/h comes up in 8.3 seconds. The top speed is rated at 330 km/h.
Ferrari currently has two dealerships in India located in Delhi (Select Cars) and Mumbai (Navnit Motors). The 488 Spider (488 GTB convertible) could be launched in India towards the end of 2016 or early 2017.
