Yes - Mustang hit the prices right.

In fact, the Petrol Zxi prices seems even more sweeter. 4 lakhs for a very decent spec'ed model.

Sleepless summer nights ahead for VW/Fiat/Tata and maybe Maruti..
What's more, there is room for one more model (with more gadgets and gizmos) as far as Ford is concerned, based on the current pricing; a model with equipment level similar to the i20 asta(O) for 6.25~6.50L can seriously alter the hatch game forever...

@Mustang....

Great job, Ford!

Absolutely love the pricing!

Want to sell off my Ford Fiesta 1.4 Petrol...and buy a Figo Diesel Titanium

After seeing this price, I am even more tempted...
My wife doesnt agree yet - that is the problem

I have a major urge to upgrade my 8 year old Palio 1.2 to a Figo D Titanium now. I haven't seen such a well priced product with decent looks and features in a while. The drivability of this car in city will be an added advantage.

Cheers Ford! I wish this goes on and becomes the best seller in Diesel hatches. Its definitely more deserving than the rest out there.

One small thing though - wont this make Fiesta D a lot overpriced? They are charging nearly 3L premium for boot space?

The pricing is very good. Now Ford should ramp its afer sales and service. It should also introduce automatic version Figo. Especially the diesel version. It can be priced around 5,60,000 to 5,80,000 which will surely be a hit. Ford are you listening? Also there is no diesel automatic below 10 Lakhs as of now.

I'm sure the materials would be different. Right from the sheet metal to the interior plastic and tyres.

But thats a very valid point - hitting a self goal and cannibalizing own sales.
But Ford is not complaining. If the Figo sells well here and abroad, it might just become a market leader.

Viva La Ford !

FORD - You are back in the game. Maruti / Hyundai - You will be out of the game soon...unless...

This is delicious pricing - The base version of the Figo costs the same as a Wagon R. And this is a B segment car...

Ford has it bang on with a sweet engine, solid body construction and excellent dynamics and now the pricing. Looks like they are super serious about becoming a volume player in the Indian market and giving all of them a run for their money - including the VFM Beat - Figo definitely looks more stronger and bigger than the Beat.

Now that they have the pricing right, the product right, all they need to do to convince the mass market that their cars are economical to maintain (not just buy) - a handsome 3 year - 100,000 warranty should help them to start with.

I am in the line for sure to buy one......

Just spoke to the sales manager at MPL Ford, nandanam. It seems the pricing of Chennai Ex Showroom would be lesser than that of Delhi. will get a call in the evening and will give an update then. Also, test drives are starting today evening after 5- 5.30 pm

great pricing by FORD.

now coming to A.S.S and maintenance cost, what is localization for Figo?

I read that it shared most of parts from Fiesta, how are Fiesta spares priced?

ANy idea how mich would be OTRs for Bangalore for all the models!

PS: somehow i did not like bland front of car. rear looked very nice for me! more comments after looking at car in flesh!
