i got it done from ram koti from the guy named jahangir, he sold me the mags and also fixed them, Babu bhai gave me the reference of this fellow!

i already have a version 3 uni's swingarm fixed which was a retro fit, but increased the rider height by a bit, i changed the swingarm because the old one was rubbing against the walls of the 120/80-18 tyre and the new one has more spacing!

i dont think i will be able to get a lengthier swingarm that will be a retro fit but are you suggesting something Nosfreak?

Ok finally I was able to get the CAMs fixed on my bike. It was around a 40 mins job. The extreme cam is a straight fit in the Unicorn. Before fitting I approached a lot of mechs to see if they will be able to fix it for me. But I got various answers like "I dont know if its suitable" to "I had fixed one but its giving the Unicorn a lot of problems." Finally I found a mech near my house who didnt ask any questions infact he has done a great job and was surprised that the measurements are exactly the same but the CAM lobes are visiblely having a different design.

Neways as for the performance, the bikes breathing a lot better and climbing to 80-90 is not sweat at all, I think i main performance diff you will feel is the engine not having to stress at higher speeds and the speeds being attained a lot faster than a stock one.

As for milage...well I will still have to check. I could take only the pics of the extreme cam before it was fixed. I could also show a pic of the Unicorn cam. Will update it later.

Oh ya I also changed the spark plug to NGK G-Power, its got a platinum tip and the tip really is a tip and not flat like bosch or other normal plugs. Cost is 200 bucks.

Here is more info: NGK

well bought the xtreme's camshafts and found out they are the same as the unicorn's so there was no increase in the power,

how ever since i spent a good 650 bucks on it, i gave it to a welder who actually welds a layer of metal so thin that if the current diameter of the shaft is 6mm they make it 6.5-6.7mm and use the lathe machine to round off the edges perfectly!

this should give the bike more power and a punchy feel as the valves are compressed more than stock and dont get bent due to only 0.5mm increase in the dia meter, and according to the mechanic who is a rally yamaha rx100 rx135 modder, should not hurt the bike in any way!

let me see the the results after this mod!

also i thought i got the 118 size jet but this was not the company manufactured one, this is made by a third party manufacturer named NATCO!, who just makes the crab components, just in case some stopped by the company! they printed 118 instead of 115 on the jet and they are just average parts, they lack the authentic company fit and finish! which i found out, to my utter astonishment, that keep the bike running, man spent 250 bucks for nothing!

well got a friend who has a achiever, asked him for the jet and he agreed to give the jet, as he is not a very performance savvy guy, he is one of my college mates and is out of town till mid jan so will only be able to get the jet then!

also was kind of thinking to pressureise the hh guys to get me the 118 size jets by placing the order! lets see where i will be able to get one!

say what fellas give out you view and opinions and any other mods you can suggest for this bike alone for its the country's only bike with a MONOShock absorber.
looks are subjective but with regards to performance, dude, just come to bangalore and pick up a tvs racing spec souped up fiero engine and fit it on the unicorn. simple.
