Death Race

12 reels in total. 7 of which depict hard core track racing of the brutal order. The other 5 are not worth mentioning.

+'s: Awesome Soundtrack. Great Race stunts & few particularly spine chillin action sequences. One HOT bod.

-"s:Flimsy story-line. Pathetic copy of the original story. Poor acting by co-stars.

Watch it if you can spare 95 mins for Hard Rock Metallica playing inside a Racing Ring.

Cheers

I loved the new death race much better than the old one. The action is better than Bond flicks, and the car scenes are well scripted. If you like mayhem and violence, this movie is ultimate. Who wants a story line?
3.5/5

Watched Death Race at a cinema and enjoyed the action thoroughly.
A few friends/BHPians who watched it on a 17" screen said it wasn't worth it. But, they don't realise the thrill of watching a car flick on a silver screen with 5.1.

+1 to that. Finally got to see the movie last night. Its a 2 hour movie but you get so engrossed in it that it doesnt matter. Don Cheadle is really one of the best actors currently. There are couple of scenes in the movie where his expression changes ever so slightly and yet gets the message across loud and clear.

Anybody seen Slumdog Millionair yet? All the critics seem to be going ga ga over it. Last Sunday's TOI editorial had TWO articles on it.

Yeah i too read both the articles in TOI. The book on which it is based is quite well received by novel reading folks i know(i dont read books unless they have pictures in them ).

Looking forward to this movie.

I heard the director is the same guy from Trainspotting. Even the first scene in Slumdog Millionair is somewhat similar to a scene from Trainspotting.

Saw Dasvidaniya last friday
Vinay Rocks. The movie does has its slow moments but i feel it has enough to keep the viewers entertained, could have been a lil shorter though.
Loved the ending, simple and very touching.
4 stars.

I wont agree on that. My rating remains at 4.5 stars .
Vinay pathak as usual is amazing. Ranvir's and even Rajat's role were too short to be judged as a critic.
