FJ Cruiser is a very capable Desert / offroad vehicle indeed, for those bad stuck situations the rear diff lock certainly helps.

No the price was 109K with bluetooth and 3M Tint!! Even for 2 or 3 days there was not even a display car in Festival City showroom!!!Due to the price you can see a lot of FJ's on the road! The price in here is inflated i guess!! Any guys from U.S. who could tell us the price over there??

it was just OK! we enjoyed offroading in wadis..

Try this route through the Al Ray village side, its more fun. Also there is another approach through Wadi Sumaini, from the dam on the Madam - Shuwaib link road.

Yet another good route is doing the mountain passes on the new UAE / Oman border route, a trip that I had named - Where Eagles Dare. This track can be approached from Al Faya itself and it emerges out just in front of Hatta fort hotel.

Yet another variation is going behind Munay village towards the Kalba road, on the millenium ramp we had built for the Gulf News 2002 overnighter fun drive.

It is here that I had spotted an Arabian Leopard in 1995, one of the only three known sightings in UAE.
