Devang,

Nice videos of off roading. Were you engaged in 4 WD High/Low or 2 WD? If you are doing off roading in 4 WD High/Low, you will get traction any way. Speeding to clear the hurdle only jumps the vehicle.

I too own a gypsy MG410 in Bangalore and am regular on off roading. Please see Suzuki_gypsy-India@yahoogroups.com for pictures of gypsies performing off roading.

warm regards,
Dwarak

hi dwarak,

we engage in 4L, but there are certain spots where if you dont gain the speed you will not be able to cross that patch...

check out the videos and let me know how to get over these situations
i can understand prado was struggling hard because it was not running proper wheels but even i have faced the same situation..

looking forward for some inputs.

@adervesh: seems you had quite a bit of fun.

BTW, did the gypsy manage to pull it's rear wheels out of the mud it was stuck in, on it's own?

You have quite a nice winch also and a good front bumper also. Which winch is it and how much did it cost you?

pdev29 - Looks like it was more of rollicking in the dirt than serious 4x4 offroading.

Anyway looks like you guys had fun. I think this thread has the most number of gypsys at a meet.

2 Questions -
1) Which exactly is the 1.6 L one? Videos please.

2) Of all the vehicles this interested me the most. Clearly a ex Army MM550, is the owner a TBhp member?
