LWB on OTR

All / Anyone,
Quick Question: Did any Mahindra Commander 650/750 take part in this OTR? If not, did any long wheel base vehicle take part (other than Nissan & Scorpio)?

I think there was a bolero participating in the OTR.

Cheers

yes there was a grey colored Bolero DI 4wd participating in the event, just guessing what his repair bills would have been after the OTR.

That would be interesting point of discussion -

One of the major concerns for any off roader would be how to minimise his bills after every OTR

And thats where the M&Ms beat the MG410/413/413Ws.

Sorry for going

Last I heard, he got rid of his front bumper and side steps. Or rather, he has to get rid of it before the next OTR.

That Bolero DI 4wd had very low GC. Was hitting underchassis every where, even on a small rock

In stock form off road, this is nothing more than what Honda Civic is on road!

P.s- That Marshal (M&M recovery vehicle) did much better than this bolero (in terms of GC) as it had no add on's and had slightly larger tyres.

On Friday I saw a Army Green Gypsy still sporting the Avalakonda OTR logo on the rear. I was in an auto-rickshaw going from Shivajinagar to Lingarajpura. I didn't recognise the driver. Any Idea who it was?

Samurai San,

Next time you do Shivajinagar to Lingarajpura, look out for the sand color 540 with the number 29 sticker. I agree with Raj, this sticker does not come off till next Official OTR. I wear it proudly.

I stay in Cooke town ~ close by. We should sync up and do some Offroading on the the MM road section where the road no longer exists and where work is going is on.

Not to mention the immaculate Factory paint specially marked and codded by the shrubs.

One of my fav pics of the trip is this taken by Vijay.

Anyone else have any good pics of #29?

Also does anyone have a video of my jeep over the first big Rock climb? I saw lot of you with cameras ready waiting for me to get stuck. Sorry I disappointed you'll
