Missed another opportunity to meet you. May some time soon later.

No it wasn't ! Official, Thar was not even supposed to touch the Indian soil.. :-)

But, don't you feel the previous trail was much more intricate ?? None of the big vehicles would have made through !!!

Hello GEN (tleman) X Jeep,
volumes have been said, projected and posted in Team BHP 4X4 forum, about our Republic Day Anniversary OTR near Bangalore in Jan 24th. and 25th. 2010.
Moderators from Jeep Thrills, like Suresh,Giri,Vivek,Vinay, and veterans M.P Srinivasan, Dwarak,Sahnawaz and many more have left no stone unturned to present the participants with the best possible trails and creature comforts/safety during the full two day event.
Yes we did have some minor issues within our organising community, where we could not mark out visitors vs participants whereby, the manual log sheets missed out a few names, resulting into a financial disbalance.
I as a senior JT mod. would appreciate your voluntary 'contribution offer', but would be happy to sort out issues within ourselves. BTW did you enjoy the 24/25 Jan. outing?
It is a shame that we do not even know the identily of our so called Saviour from Cochin.
With you always................................. UBS

Ganesh,

those scropios were fully operational 4 WDs equipped with lifted body and mud terrain Maxxis tyres. Yes they were actively involved in OTR.

Was this the one behind Armadas headlight innovation?

I am sure if not for headlight it surely must have been inspiration for NGCS chassis. I believe this is Wangler TJ with leaf springs. Correct me if i am wrong.

The thing to be really inspired off is the hard top! Why can't Mahindra be inspired in this regard? We certainly need a good looking hard top like this one.

Edit: What the white vehicle beside the Wrangler? Looks like some 80-90's model Jap SUV

VN: Please dont look at what you are not supposed to .

Whether it is a Jap SUV or other - Does it really matter to us? We can only speculate and pour our views about what we want - The end of the day, we are given what is mass produced!! after CMVR and ARAI approvals.

Maybe we need to get those guys too into this forum - what say?

@Headers aren't they already in the forum? For your information I am attaching a pic from the book "Machine Design by Joseph Shigley", i happened to learn this during my 5th semester of Mechanical Engineering, i have dug this out just for you guys, it clearly gives an outline of what a manufacturer (who does mass production) must aim at, headers i hope you understand what i am speaking
