What is the latest status? Is the Gypsy back on the road as a bigger meaner machine?
Friends,

I was off the project for sometime as i found myself amidst of classrooms and test papers.
The regional festivals seasonal illness also delayed the progress a little
Updates.
Engine mounts are fabricated.

We were very keen to use only suzuki parts in the machine. But we had to use a M&M part,- the main engine mounting bush from 540

Finally the engine is mounted(not merely hung in position using a chain pulley) and the wiring part is to be done.( very cautiously)

Decided to use higher capacity baleno's fuel tank.
Mechanical glitches are almost solved.
Hope to start the engine soon.

Great efforts. When is it expected to complete?
How abt painting & electrical job? I would suggest you to the get the paint job done later after you finish the run-in period of a new machine.

Thanks Ram
MPFI wiring & other necessary stuffs necessary to run the engine will be done atfirst. Once we confirm that the engine installation is perfect, he will be stripped down for tinkering.
Painting of the body tub & chassis(rust proofing) will be done soon after the tinkering job.( you cant take the tub off the chassis often. rite )

Right now the wiring job is in progress. As I am abroad I don't have any pictures to update.

reinitiated after a break

Friends,
The project was held due to some unavoidable circumstances
I thank Ram, Sankar & Desmo for their interest.

Seeing Alan's 416 ripping the express highway gave me the spark to reinitiate the work.

Status
-Power steering box was installed.
-Custom 4 core copper radiator is getting installed.
We had to drop our plans of using Baleno's fuel tank due to space constrains.
So ordered a new Gypsy King's Fuel tank assembly; also Gypsy King's Brake booster
Brake booster is getting installed.
Got few pictures of the radiator & engine bay showing P.S box (courtesy to Ashwin-ashwar87)

Its Gypsy King MPFI's booster. (4.5k INR)
Maruti Zen's booster is also an alternative
Ashvar87 got a similar set up in his 5 speed 410.

Its more than a year in recession era.
