Re: New 4X4 project

This has to be, arguably, the first 4x4-Rat-Rod I've seen !
Love the wide crouched Sumo look - nicely done jyobeb!

^^^ Has the body been mounted permanently ? Your build is progressing beautifully, and waiting for the final look !

John,
The only word that comes to mind is Menacing.

I already have a old 4wd Safari, some experience with a 14B. You get me thinking.

What's the final color that you have chosen?

Edit: Not to rain on your parade or anything but the visible IFS is a a bit of a downer for a classic restoration that'd rock with classic SFA and leafs!

Cheers,
Adi

The color is still not chosen! Suggestions welome.
This is not a restoration at all in the true sense. Purist's will condemn me to a hell filled with Ambassadors, Montanas and standard 20s if I even claim that!!!!
Just a retro rat-rod, as lugnut put it so well!

Lol, true that. Not so much classic restoration. But insanity is guaranteed. Would love to look it up in person some day.

In fact, saw quite a few of them in the hills of Colorado last month. Few of them in the dulled out green shade seen quite often on this vehicle. Remembered your build a lot then.

This has to be a bright metallic shade: Maroon or ? The wooden-cabin would be too much of a pain but will look super. Have you evaluated that option?

Re: New 4X4 project

The original color was a dulled out green. Noticed that while I was working on it.
My daughter wants blue!

My fav of them all is this one. Never seen this in matt before.
