Point noted sir ... My Dad would join me for the spin, he is an ex-army person who has decent off-road experience on the CJ3Bs, JONGAs & Shaktimans. Would also have a friend's Gypsy King equipped with tow ropes for rescue.

The terrain which I am talking about is just a small hillock with some unpaved surface where 4x4 can be tested. It can be compared to your office backyard.

Your Jeep is looking great...

Just a day before yesterday, first time I sit in a open Jeep (like yours) and I had all together a different experience which I can not elebrate in words. I hope you must be having the same feeling of proud. I know well now that Jeeping is all about love and passion to a thing called Jeep which a Non-Jeeper can not understand.

PS : Did you go for off road drive with your dad??

It is a wonderful experience. Dad was there with me during this short drive. A friend has also accompanied us in his 1.3 L Gypsy King. It was a wonderful short off-road session. The 4WD worked like a dream.

Thanks Harjeev, yes these tyres are 6.00x16 NDMS. Would change to 7.00x16 NDMS post few OTRs, the current tyres would easily last for couple of months.

Hi Sabareesh,

Superb work and excellent paint colour.. though few questions

Why do you keep the bench seats and don't go for a front facing seats?
Why the number plate placed on side of bumper instead of ceter?
Why the Head light guards painted in White? I think better looks in black or same jeep colour

tks/sadiq

These NDMS 7.00x16 are difficult to source in Delhi. We are getting 6x16 NDMS but they dont look good in the MM550 that I have. I would like to have 7.50x16 on my jeep as they look good with the army rims.

When you are buying tyres please do inquire about these (7.50x16) and let me know the prices too.
Thanks

Sabareesh, Please check out my garage. not sure if you have same idea. i tried to keep it as simple as possible. the entire soft-top can be easily removed within 5min and the windshield can be lowered. The whole soft top is just supported by the rollcage and no extra bars/rods used.
