My MM540 - 96 Model. Original Peugot engine. Upgraded to NDMS tyres. Needs a coat of paint (am waiting for contributions please ) and maybe a look into the steering column as i have more-than-normal play.

Hey Viks,

Are those commander rims on the older PSD? Or upgraded to the Scorpio PSD?
How come you did not consider 7.00 NDMS?

PS - The number plate is not smudged in the first pic - Report your post to a mod if you want to edit it.

Hi Ironwolf,

I searched heaven and earth for 7.00 NDMS. Even tried getting it from the north and the south (beyond Bangy). Finally with a heavy heart and UBS sir's consolation, I settled for these tyres.

The rims and tyres both were bought off a member of team bhp who was looking to upgrade his jeep's tyres. These are factory fitted rims and tyres for the CL500/550.

The previous tyres and rims, i have not much idea since they came with the jeep. The vehicle belonged to someone who drove through estates and my guess is he picked the tyres from abroad (I came to this conclusion because the tyre settings were: Good year wrangler 225/75/16. I never came across this settings on any indian tyre)

Moderators: Could you kindly smudge the number in the first picture? Or would i need to send a seperate mail regarding the same. (Pardon my ignorance)

re: All Team-BHP 4x4 Jeep Pics!

7.00s are available in Chennai - SuperKing Tyres. Uncomfortable and functional. I like em.

Have reported your post, Mods will help shortly

re: All Team-BHP 4x4 Jeep Pics!

Thanks for the Mod-help.

7.00 -16 is available under the Superking company. However the ply rating for those tyres are 14. (Ideally suiting tempos, canters and mini trucks).

For jeeps the plys rating should be 8 (passenger car ply). In fact since it is a jeep, it can be stretchd upto 12 MAX. But anything above that makes the tyres very heavy.

Hi to all jeep gurus. I spotted this jeep in my college campus. It was an eye-candy. I hope you all will like it.
Did not know where to post the pics, so posting them here.

Sudarshan,

This was my dad's first vehicle. Immaculcate condition. He sold it off with a very heavy heart.
Brings back memories, and this was what I learnt to drive in.
