I now have a Skoda Laura CR TDi Elegance MT. VIN says manufacture date as June 2012. When VIN decoded online, it says "assembled in Aurangabad". So probably this may be assembly date? Is there a way to make out CKD kit manufacture date? But put it in clear terms to the dealer that you will not take it if VIN says manufacture date is older than certain month. Just to make sure of this I requested bank to hold disbursing the loan DD till I personally inspect the vehicle. It went according to my satisfaction ultimately.

Folks, I need your help to decode the VIN for a Suzuki Kizashi. It is JSAFRE91SBG100637.

I am not buying one. A good friend and colleague is.

Being a direct import, I guess the car does not follow the VIN system Maruti Suzuki India use.

I tried a couple of websites to decode this VIN but it says it is incorrect and that is impossible as the dealer photographed the VIN and sent it to me when I pointed out a possible mistake in the VIN he had sent me over text message.

Its a Japan Suzuki 2011 manufactured family vehicle. need some time to decode the rest and to verify the check.

First do a PDI and make sure that everything is up to the satisfactory level. you can bargain for hefty discount for a 9 month old vehicle.

Hi, can anyone tell me where to find the VIN No. of a Ford Figo?

It is on the quarter glass towards right side of the car. You can find a white sticker pasted there and the vin is printed on that. Usually Ford vin starts with MAJ.... 17 alphanumerical characters.

Also its same as the chassis number given in your RC book or RC card. :)

Please check the following places for your VIN:


1. Look under the driver seat. You will find a black flap, just lift that and your Vehicle Identification Number will be inscribed there.



OR

2. Look under the driver seat remove the floor mat and lift the black flap to find the VIN inscription.
