Hahahahahahaha iraghava you are taking the freaky out of the newbies here...

for all of the t-bhpians I have not built this system in a day or a month it took me quite a long time to reach this level. and i have to go further....but ever thing step by step........

we were expecting it,u just delayed it..

Now u can buy a better 4-ch amp and speakers.See if u can fit in infinty kappa in ur budget,i have these and sound is just f..a..n..t..a..s..tic.

And now dont dream about 5/6-ch amplifier,u need 20-30k more if u want to have it in ur ICE system as alone it will cost abt 25-30k unless u r outsourcing it.

Usually, if you arent doing a BIG install (multiple amps, woofers) then in all probability you wont need much damping. Example, SK456's car has Rs 440 worth of damping...

Thanks Sam and WOW the infinity copmps are more than twice as expensive as the JBL.. :-( that takes it way beyond my budget

I will be going with the JBL configuration, would you recommend any changes to that ?

Folks general question, when you are on a budget and your dream config is not fitting in it, then what is the first thing to compromise on. Should it be something like this
- HU
- Amp
- Back speakers
- Front Speakers

What say ??

In order of decreasing priority, assuming that you're not going to be chauffered around most of the time:

1. Back Speakers (rather not use them at all and get really smashing fronts)

2. Amplifier (if you're not using fronts, you could perhaps need leser channels of amplification)

3. Head Unit (not in quality, but maybe cut out frills like display, BBE, MX, FNMLBES* etc)

4. Front Speakers (Are you serious? Screw the ICE, get a discman.. dude!)

* Fantastic New Mega Low B*** Enhancement System (patent pending)

LOL... navin dont worry I am not compromising on the fronts. I just needed an order of importance as suggested i have put Su woofer plans on hold.

Are the Kappas so much better than the JBLs ??? What i am trying to find out is if it worth it to replace the fronts with Kapas and forget about the Sub and its amp. But then I guess that is something I have to decide after hearing a demo..

Kappas would be a good buy if u can afford.

If you cant get a sub now, get 6x9 for rear and get all teh speakers fired by a good 4 channel amp.

But the aveo does not support a 6X9 in the rear. The factory slot allows only for a 6.5"

OR
JBL GTO301.1 2 13k or so
+ a JBL box-sub or tube- 6.5k to 9k

if you dnt want sub; then get GTO75.4 + those speakers. If that amp is too costly then get the CS60.4 which should be at 10k
