Hi ventoman,

Its located on the left side within boot of Vento. Here is picture of the same, I believe your car will have the same module. This does not support OPS display.



As mentioned earlier you can buy either 4K module to support only rear sensors of 8K module if you plan to install front parking sensors. You will have to replace existing module with new one and route wire from 12 pin connector to CANBUS powertrain (BCM).

Hi KK_HakunaMatata,

I believe this head unit might not be compatible with your car since this is CANBUS enabled. Several functions are dependent on CANBUS connection. Also I am not sure if this will fit in the OE location of your car.

Most of the folks using this in VW are doing this mainly for OE look and functions. You will have far more options in the aftermarket head units.

Please try to click on this black/blank screen and see if you notice any disturbance in audio (radio/media playing on head unit) and then try to reset again.

Try again with Boot and all doors closed. Happened with me also. If you don't close boot this happens. Hope it helps you.

Hey Maddy, finally I got it working. Now the thing is, it works only once after the car is started. Like if I disengage reverse and engage it again, there's no change in the screen, the car has to switched off and back on for it work again.

Hi All,

I see a lot of people installing reverse camera in their Vento/Polo. Does using the Vagtune Setup mentioned in some of the earlier posts ( link here) creates any issues with the warranty?

Thanks, but i had already seen that thread before i posted. That thread talks about older versions of the passat/polo/vento.

My cars year of manufacture is 2016 and has mirrorlink, android auto however doesn't work.
