Mine is a 2013 Honda City V AT. I dont remember if I had an USB and an Aux Port. But, post installation, I got a USB port and an Aux Port out of the Pioneer unit. I need to plug the iPhone to the USB port (ligtning on the other end). Of course, Aux is Aux. Same behaviour.
