Given the space MJ has behind the speakers I would suggest a L baffle OB using 2-3 OB woofers mated to a Supravox and a B*G Neo 3 (remove the rear cap and the tweeter is a dipole).

a-ha see where google skills are limited....:-)

What else do you expect Dyanduio to use in their Speakers. The Dyn drivers are in Dyn speakers. Dyn does not serve the DIY market anymore.

Gamut etc.. however are using SS drivers (atleast the sliced paper cone woofers) see the pics.

What sort of point can one try to prove by posting serial numbers of products???

As far as I know, Bhagwan meticulously documents all his buys pertaining to the products he is affectionate or enthusiastic about. He preserves such information with him and when listing out his gear, he probably just copied and pasted those details.

Besides, you know how easy it is for someone to scoff you/ question authenticity if you put up such a tall list. Maybe if he hadn't posted the serial numbers, perhaps you would be asking exactly that question.

I agree. I used to have a rather large collection of raw drivers (Dyn, Focal, Vifa, Morel, JBL, Volt, etc..) and just to keep things straight I listed them along with the serial numbers. Now if I did a simple cut-paste from that list to TBHP or Audiogon and did not have time I might have included the serial numbers (but all this was before the days of the internet).

SK, Godji is as eccentric as as any of us. Let's chalk this up as one of his eccentricites ok?

I dont think it has anything to do with Delhi or Mumbai, its just that a few individuals are more prone to showing-off and coincidentally most of them happen to be from Delhi.

I just heard LBM's car on Sunday @ 1300 Hours.

I guess, let LBM take the lead & I will fill in.

BTW - he played the music @ 'rather same' levels. I do not think we were above 85 dB's @ any point in time.

Also, my sub enclosure is almost ready. Will finish it tom - hopefully. i.e. if my carpenter comes in to work.

Shall start the concrete & tiles & bitamine there after. Finally the carpet will go on.
Did you guys see the pictures I posted of the gear that is to be installed ? Comments ?

Thanks,

SS - Revelator Woofer & Tweeters

Hi !

The SS Revelator Woofer [Sliced Paper] & the Super Revelator [Ring Radiator] were the top of the line drivers that Mr. Lars Goller developed for SS. This was till 2 years back.
Lars Goller has left SS & has started his own driver company called Scar & SS has a new team in place and has just launched a super high end driver line called Illuminator with Beryllium components. They will hit the market this summer.

To get back to 'Bhagwan'
He [Godji - as you guys put it] is not a lover of SS drivers. Just got them to listen to the end product. Currently I have taken a fancy to T & P - Accutone - Driver based speakers. Ceramic & Diamond. I also just got a new speaker in with a woofer from Audio Technology [Per Scanning] & Raven R1 Ribbon. It is called a Noble Expect. LBM - Google the details, let me see what you come up with ??? Would be interesting to know.

Specially Mr. P. S. [Per Scannong]. He is the ex-owner of Dynaudio & SCanspeak. In fact he founded both those companies. He makes drivers currently. His clients are Rockport Technologies / Eben / Peak Consult / Varity Audio etc. etc.

If I could get some 'leverage' and state just one thing. I am not trying to 'show off' if that is where this thread is going ? My intent is to listen to hi end 'SQ' set up in Cars. No one has come forth to offer me the same - except B & T / LBM [Thank You].
The last item on my equipment list are 3 power cords. Transparent Audio PLMM. They alone will cost most then most Hi End Car audio install - please do google it [ 2 K US $'s a piece].

p.s. When a fellow has Gryphon in his set up - he has gone far far beyond 'mine is bigger than yours' concepts. I am sure most 'audiophiles' & 'hi-fi' fellows already know that !!!
