OK Here goes:
Infinity reference ovals (These are entry level) Ref9613i - Rs 6990/-
Infinity 4" fronts - Ref 4002i - Rs 3990/-
12" free air woofer Ref1230W Rs 8000/-

No boxed woofers in reference
Inifnity Kappa has a boxed woofer for 15500/-

We dont offer infinity amplification in India. Only speakers. So you'd prolly have to take the JBL amplifier.

Am somewhat confused .. lemme ask some very basic questions

how and where are these speakers mounted in the car ?
how many speakers does one need in all ? 2 tweets , 2 woofs and 1 sub ?

7+4+8 = 19K + 10 for the amp so you can go to infinity for 29K. no box woofer though. you can build a 1.0 cu. ft. box for 2-3K.

2 tweeters, 2 midbass drivers, 2 fullrange for the rear and a sub.

the 2 tweeters and 2 midbass drivers are driven by 2 channels of the sub via a passive XO

the 2 rear channels use the other 2 channels of the 4 channel amp

the sub as it's own amp.

hope this helps.

Well in a baleno,

You would mount a set of 5.25" in the front. The front mid-woofers would fit in the door and the tweeters would fit on the door itself, or on the dash.
In the rear there is a stock position for a 6" round speaker.
Then you either cut a hole in the parcel shelf for a woofer, or mount a boxed woofer or a tube in the boot.
Then Navins uncle becomes your uncle also

Thanks ...

So say for the baleno
the 2 tweeters sit on the dash ..
the mid range is setup in the front doors
the rears in the parcel tray
and the sub in the boot ?
the amp and the crossover (i take it, that its separate unit ?) too reside in the boot ?

Yes. One should mount the changer in the boot too. The amp can be mounted under the seat, but it better if you mount it in the boot.
Fitting is easier, wiring is easier and the cooling is better.

Great .. that clears it up ...

And what would the 'cheapest' JBL setup cost, for this config ?

Is it the same you mentioned earlier ? The sub 25K package ?

mount the amp in the boot pref. on the rear of the seat this way if you car gets flooded you dont loose you amp. ive seen floods in kolkatta too. one time the rickshaw driver (human rickshaw) left me in the rick and dove into the water to catch fish. I wish i had a camera.

well, thats not really the cheapest, but then dont forget that you would be putting in components in your baleno, so yeah 25k plus a head unit is ok.

Do you offer the Infinity Basslink (powered Subwoofers) in India? If yes, at what price point?

Thanks!
