Hey Sam,

I am in a dilemma can you please resolve my concern.

I run a Xing in bangalore & first i installed
Pioneer 5750
JBL GTO 936e rear
JBL Tweeter P25 T front.

I am thinking of upgrading to an AMP & then a SUB in future. My ideas are to install JBL CS 50.4 & JBL Sub.

Please give me suggestion JBL amp & JBL Sub is better or SONY 504 & XPLOAD Sub in terms of output. Also i read in the forum that JBL drains the battery very soon because of overheat.

My next question is i am also thinking of replacing the air filter with a K&N stock replacement filter. Can you give me your thoughts on this??

One last question I have got 4 OWS Iridium spark plugs please tell me your suggestions on Iridium spark plugs.

Regards
D

well if u are planning to use a JBL sub and amp id suggest fort the amp u better stick to the JBL 75.4 and not the CS 50.4 and as far as the sub is concerned u can get any based on ur car requirements..the JBLs will tend to be way better than the XPLODS..
hehe engine wengine???
thats last 2 qns of urs are put up in the wrong part of the forum buddy..before others pounce upon u let me warn u about mentioning about engine mods on ICE thread, let me tell u that K&N topic seems to be one of the most debated topics on the forum and the topic reagarding ur spark plugs being irridium mainly depends on ur compression ratio for max benefit..

@ csd42419. Welcome to tbhp.

The JBL's you have opted for is far better than the 504 and teh sony sub.
Sony setup would cost around 7-8k while JBL setup would be around 6k + amp price.

Sony 504 delivers less power than teh JBL amp you are planning to buy. If you are gonna by a 2/4 channel amp, I would suggest you get GTO426 for front speaker pods and power then from amp and use the spare amp's channel to power the sub.

p.s: I was offered jbl tube + 301.1 amp+ jbl wiring kit for 16k.

16K is very good. it's a steal. the tube runs 6.5K, the wires 3K so you are getting the 300.1 for 6K wow!
