NIP, why is the XO mounted extrenally? By installing the amps the way you have done it will be diffuclt to tweak them later if you need to. otherwise a very nice, neat and creative install.

hi Navin...are u talkin abt the XO for the components ? isnt this the best way to install them...!?

abt the tweaking...yea i agree its difficult now...but we played lots of different music to set the levels...now it sounds great. i have more control over the sound as the fader,eq,sub levels are all at my fingertips on the equalizer....

Nice install. Some comments/ suggestions.

The crossover looks good mounted there, the holes for the various wires should have been in the same sequence that they appear on the crossover, to avoid criss-crossing. Looks good otherwise.

2 sacks of waste in the trunk lid? How did you keep the waste from spilling over into the backside of the subwoofer and near/ into the coil, or is the waste stuffed into the trunk, sack inclusive? I hope those subs don't have a vented pole-piece in case there's loose matter back there. Also, depending on the kind of waste, it could severely reduce the volume used by the subs. Why don't you do some conventional damping, or better still, since you have the access, get the insides of the trunk lid fibergalssed with a couple of layers of mat.

LBM....the rear of the sub 'box' is flat and has no vents / ports into the door hollow area. the waste is not in sacks but stuffed into all the cavities effectively to provide sound proofing and reduce vibrations. it works very well and the bass is just too good to be true...fas surpassed my expectations !!
