Gunbir,
The P80 Pioneer and Pioneer Premier will have different components and hence the SQ will be different as the PREMIER series always uses high end components than the standard Pioneer version..
Your comments plzzzz
Cheers

The DEH-P80RS is the next lower model of DEX-P90R for SQ people......

The diff between the regular pioneer and the premier is the Warranty only

Even the preamp voltage issue (Premier units are supposed to have higher pre out voltage) remains to be actually checked.

Anybody have any Premiers around in Delhi for testing?

Premier did have higher pre-out voltages when compared to some pioneer models. Like in the earlier 7650... the pioneer one had 2.5v vs the premier one which had 6.5v pre-outs.

Rest i dont think they have any difference.

Fulled what u said is right and wrong both. The 7650 or what we called DEH-P7600MP , DEH-P760MP both pioneer and premier had same preout (2 volts) but the earlier model that is 7500 or 7550 here had diff in preout thats is in DEH-P7500MP pioneer it is 4 volts but in DEH-P750MP premier it is 6 volts !..

But now days pioneer and premier as I and Gunbir has said the diff is of badging and the extended warranty. Rest I dont know pioneer to that extent what company does we cannot know.

Rest some more people can put light on this topic. This is all from my side....
