Has TML upgraded the 2.2L Dicor/VTT to BS6 in any config? Would be nice for them to upgrade it to 200bhp/600Nm (They had already achieved 148bhp/400Nm) and put in the safari to go head to head or perhaps one-up against the XUV700. But....

It should have been done for the Hexa, but as RavenAvi has posted in the Hexa thread, Tata is said to have stopped work on making the 2.2 Varicor to be BS6 compliant.

They have upgraded a basic version for commercial use. Produces just 99 HP, 200Nm.

Slight correction. The 2.2L has been upgraded to BS6 for commercial use, such as Winger. It uses the low cost DPF + LNT, probably viable because of the low tuning of this engine.

Surprising while TML tries to move upmarke, they aren't working on powertrain independence. Definitely not competitive against MM.

The Telcoline had a nice place for the toolkit- below the rear seat. The sitting part is actually hinged at the front end, and can be lifted from the rear long edge. Hope you got this point - pls check and let us know.

On this model- (2015 4x4 3.0L BSIII), there is a strap at the center back that needs to be pulled to collapse the rear seat. The strap in my truck has been stitched into the upholstery.
