It does look good in person, body built by maaruti coach in karur, the bus is almost an year old, spotted and checked it out during my last visit.

Even saw some people/passengers waiting for an hour to board this particular bus even though they have buses every 5-10 minutes intervals (includes other private operators). Even i waited 10 minutes to spot this bus along with my friend who is also a bus operator.

Driver seating position is lowered like in volvo and the steering wheel is modified (i think it has a swift steering wheel) and has good head lamps, LCD's and mobile chargers for passengers.

Cool! So it's not actually an ordinary bus. The owner must be quite the visionary. And kudos to the body builder for modifying to such a wonderful extent.

P.S. It would be cool if we get pics of the inside.

For those who travel by Shivneri Volvo of MSRTC from Pune to Mumbai please note that their E-Ticket charge is only Rs. 229 while across the counter it is Rs. 250/-
Secondly E-ticket helps in the person boarding from other points like Parihar Chowk. etc. Also Parihar Chowk has staff to issue tickets against vacant seats in the buses.

I found this beautiful TNSTC-Villupuram based bus operating Chennai-Trichy. Look at the window panes of the bus. The entire upper portion is made of glass and when the windows are closed, it is as if there are no openable windows at all, just like an AC bus! It has an LED name board too.

2. Can bus body building getter better? Angel, a Trissur-Nilambur Fast Passenger. Look at the Benz grill and Leyland logo!! What a terrible imagination!

This is one of the weirdest buses I have ever seen. Karur body builders claim this to be an aerodynamic body. Based on Ferari!!! Can you believe it?? It operates from Madurai to Cumbam

I think, air resistance in above should be less compared to other regular flat front models.

There are many such kinds of designs and people are prefering them too.
TAT - Thirumal Alagu Travels are one of the prominent operators from Theni,Cumbum to Chennai. All their Inter city buses are from Jaico.

i had known a die hard leyland fan from malappuram who wanted to buy a bus of his own. and i strongly doubt this one belongs to him.

I doubt on this. I had met the manager of this TAT travels once in SM Kannapa body builders. He told me all the intercity coaches of TAT are built at Prakash and local route buses at karur.

After buses with Merc Logos, here is one with a VW logo! Does VW manufacture Heavy Commercial Vehicles anywhere? (I couldn't find any on the net)...

I believe this is the latest Private City Bus in Kochi.. body is from Karur (Forgot the name of the builder).
