Wow this looks superb! Totally agree with power conservation (we all do it for the looks hehe). I cant wait to try this on my 12 year old accent ! I just hope the led which I order fits properly.

How does the lamp look? Do put a picture so that we can help you buy the right one.

I was in a hurry to do it. So instead of ordering online I went to a nearby person who sells fancy lights and got the LED's from there. Got a cheaper deal as well compared to online!

Procedure is largely similar. The cabin light should not take you more than 2 minutes once you pry open the light cover. Just keep in mind the polarity.

I installed a SMD 24 LED in the cabin yesterday and i was left wanting for more illumination. However that's a matter of personal preference. Will try today by coupling SMD 24 LED with a SMD 5050 one.

This should easily take a 24 or 48 SMD. The one in my ANHC is smaller than this but can accommodate a 6 cm by 4 cm SMD LED.

As suggested by Chaand, go ahead and get a 24 SMD one.

You can either get a direct 24 SMD one in a festoon or like the one I have used in my car.

Unfortunately, i did not take any before pics but it wasn't of any use as i couldn't click a selfie at night with the old yellow light on. However, i have clicked some after pics

Is anyone aware as to how to tap the wiring of the central dome light so that I can connect footwell lights in the form of LED'S. The car in question is the ANHC.

Does anyone have an idea on changing the backlighting of the dashboard? I have changed most lights to LEDs but the dashboard light doesn't match with the overall look.

In my friend's Pulsar 200NS, it was a straight forward job but I am not sure if it would be possible in the car.

What type of lights would have been used inside the dashboard, if anyone has opened the dashboard?

Never have gone to that level of detailing and IMO it is risky.

Would involve removing the dashboard to access the instrumentation cluster.

Once that's opened, the cover holding the i console shark b be open need to expose the bulbs which are mostly T10 / T5 or w5w.
