what would you say is the focal length of DCR250? I can't find any data.
your magnification (on the sensor) should be 210/Fd where Fd is it's focal length, right? assuming you shot it at tele end of the lens.
EDIT: found it, allegedly it's 125 mm.
Used to do a lot of macro stuff some time ago (before I shifted focus from critters to people). One from the archives.
One of the first sample shots with my new camera.
By mistake took this picture with auto ISO which bumped up the ISO to 1600, hence the noisy picture

C&C, most welcome
Barely had any time to shoot anything with my DSLR (or hang around t-bhp!) these days. The iphone however, gets it's fair share of exercise and to be honest it does fairly well.
Here's a breathtaking November morning!
Strong chillness in the air, bright sunlight and an array of fall colours make this season very special. And my favourite! Over and out!

My wife's diamond ring !!!:)
Btw, how do i add my name in the picture as a copyright stuff? I am using Nikon's View NX2 software
@mobike008 open the photograph in MS Paint/ GIMPI/ Photoshop basically any editor that allows you to add text on a picture.
Now in paint select add text option. Place the text box at a desired location on the photo and type in the required text. Now save the file voila you've now created your own watermark :)
Same thing needs to be done in Photoshop or GIMP.
