It was an incredible day of shooting for me, renting the 600mm F4 VR lens and going out to the skagit valley on a rainy rainy day! The goal was to use rain as an atmospheric element while photographing these birds out in the wild. The snowy owl, short eared owl, snow geese and Harrier hawk were some of the birds I managed to photograph.

Pretty good stuff. But, I'd really be happy if you posted the street photographs you made from the workshop, they're class apart. I think those photos really give an idea as to what street photography is.
Anyway, here's one. No tripod, hence the softness. It was supposed to be a test run of this particular lens. The rose was yellow but I used an On One free preset that gave me a dual tone rose. I debated between this one and b/w version of this. I'll probably post the other version later.

Almost a similar pic, which was shot more then 4 years back using a Nikon P&S camera.

This was taken with my Canon P&S. I regretted not carrying my D5100 as there are lot of good photo opps in Chowmuallah Palace
