I took this photo with a Samsung Galaxy Grand, yesterday. The blue colour of the van looked striking in the dull drab grey surroundings caused by overcast skies.

O.T: The van looks like a clean original example except for the side mouldings (and mirror maybe). MVL xxxx means around 1985/86 (i think so); & it looks like it is one of the original japanese ones.

Not a great set of images, but wanted to share it nonetheless. In Dec 2009, had gone to this beach resort near Alibaug. As i stepped out of my room to go to the beach, this snake crossed my path with a frog in its mouth! Was stunned but managed to click a few snaps..hands shaky, but was an awesome experience :D. This is a striped keelback, i believe.

Great catch. If the first one had been sharper,it would have been a wonderful capture.

Very Interesting :)

Here are a few photos from a recent trip:

Shot from the vehicle. Saw it standing by the road, reduced speed, signaled to vehicles behind that I was stopping, eased onto the side of the road, switched on the camera with my left hand as I was stopping, and shot him through the left side window before he moved off. 2 seconds to take the shot. Thepakaddu - Masinagudi stretch.

These were shot from my mobile phone, which by the way, is the only excuse I have to be less guilty about posting my mediocre photos in this thread :D

Very nice colors. I get a feeling that there is some scope to get some details out of shadows.

Nice shots :thumbs up What shutter speed did you use ?

Great capture for a mobile camera! The movement was just right!

City on fire. Snapped this above Sao Paolo Brazil. You can see the urban crawl eating away the countryside.
