The fact that you felt they were photoshoped must mean there is some minute element of work here. Am just lucky to get here actually.

Cheers

SRShrikanth : The Santa Clara beach shot ( No.2 ) was cropped though, as it had a few ppl sprawled on the beach - that wouldn't have made the cut here on this public forum.:D

Nope not HDR, just sqeezing every ounce of available dynamic range from RAW file.
You can look at the bigger version. Won't attach here.

As for the dreamy look, this is not norton effect, but the effect of a long exposure(1.3s).
I stacked a polarizer with a 3 stop ND filter and sqeezed down the aperture to F/20

Here's another one

I don't know what exactly the process you're following here but be careful about highlight/shadow areas edge banding.

Trees against the sky show that.

Yup, I think I need to use a HDR software to remove that. Too much crazy curves adjustment is causing this.

Let's see if these 2 pictures get approved from the gurus. Had been to a friend's place and he has these parrots. Tried clicking one of the three - :)

Nice shot Gautam. What was the question they were asking? :)

Thanks Rudy. I guess they wanted to know how many down I was ;)

These shots look funny because of close-up.
Your camera has good long focal length...Sorry, use tele mode and go back from them.

You'll get different result. Trust me, they'll look good.
