HellwratH, it is not purple fringing, but a purple grass flower.:) If it was affected by CA and purple fringing, it should have been out-of-focus giving ghostly image. Instead, even the fully focused parts are in purple. Besides, it was shot using a lens (Zuiko 50-200mm) which is known to control CA very well. In addition, it is shot at a higher focal length of 169mm (338mm EFL), where CA is rare.

Chances for this amount of CA are non-existent in this excellent quality lens.

Of course, Zuiko lenses are wonderful.:D It may be a news to Indian photographers, but it is wellknown fact worldwide for 4 decades now. I know people keep wondering why I use Olympus, they don't know that the lenses are to die for.

This is a wonderfully strange shot. I am not sure how this was done, but I see one flaw. Although he appears to be a foot higher from the water surface, his reflection in the water starts off right away.

Thanks buddy. Your image is just WOW! Awesome work there. Same question as others, how did you shoot it? I find the legs (the shoe part) to be somewhat different. And the reflection is kind of giving it away that he was actually standing on the railing and eventually the legs were modified in the PP. Am I right? :)

Samurai, I was only kidding about the purple fringing. I have read a lot about the 50-200 lens. Many people get that with a 1.2 TC and use it for birding. But correct me if I am wrong, I thought purple fringing was more at the tele end and not at the wide end? The only reason I am still not jumping into that system is the unavailability of lenses here. But if I manage to land in the US of A, I wouldn't think twice about it. By the way, I am a sucker for old MF lenses and seems like the Four Thirds system do amazingly well with older canon FD lenses. Better than the Canon EF themselves.

It is 1.4 TC, I have the exact combo. The following photo was shot using that combo.

Depends on the lens design too. But if we are talking single lens, CA is less visible in higher FL.

Shaju Composition is fine but the green cover in the background show too much Photo shop work , Did you correct the exposure using Multiply as blending option for layer in Photoshop ?
PS: Gurus does T-BHP strip off the Exif data from the pictures ? I am using FxIF plug-in for Firefox and unable to see any EXIF metadata on this thread ?
Is there a way out ?

Ok, so you are wrong on both the observations :)
Here is the original with no pp at all
he jumped off a platform in the middle of the water, i just cloned out the platform from the water. The reflection and the feetis real:D
