Hey V&V, first one is superb except for the line of horizon rule. I also shot the second location and posted couple of pages before. Its quite near to Cumbom.

Thats hilarious! How was your Kerala trip?
A dragonfly from last Kerala trip. Handheld shot with my 1000D & 50mm 1.8 prime. Slight cropping and resizing done. Signature idea done by my friend.

I am imagining how people would have observed you, (and given weird looks) while you were lining up to take that shot! :D

Focussed a bit behind the head, dont you think?
Speaking of Diwali & 50mm 1.8 & Miss World competitions-

Amazing shot Shajufx, I can't pin point what works but this truly is a classic capture! Great!
I got the D3100 last week. Tried clicking pics and most came out worse than I thought!! Maybe next diwali, I'll be better prepared. One of the shots that I liked, tried bokeh here. Please do point out the weak points, am eager to learn and better my skills!

Slight OT:
@Pramod: Thanks brother! EOS 450D is in my kitty now, with the kit 18-55 IS lens. Additional lenses include Canon 50mm 1.8 and Sigma 70-300 APO DG. :)

Hey CD, haven't noticed it till the moment you pointed it. Now I do feel that focus can be shifted little bit towards right side.
Here's my shot at Diwali :
Another shot taken on a flight :
And,,the camel said "CHEESE" !!

:D Nice one Shaju.
The red dragon fly looks yummy :p

Congrats!
Use the 50 1.8 more. Its so good, you may not use 18-55 again, except for going wide angle!

Backlit, and shadows brought out during PP? Looks a bit foggy as jk pointed out. Nice shot otherwise. :)
