I am surprised nobody got it. It is the most notorious ghat in Karnataka, the Bisle Ghat. The photo was taken at Bisle Park, a famous view point.

Pics from recent trips:)

Mr.Para-veen, curious to know the focus point in these images, first two look out of focus to me. Please shoot seriously, give up the 'casual' mode ! :D

You better mind your words !!

@Chetan - really nice shot of the water droplet. Just curious where can one rent lens in Bangalore and whats the cost.
@Shajux - really nice sharp pics, i am planning on the 35mm 1.8 or maybe a sigma 20-40 f2.8 all depends on the Vitamin M factor :)

Yajaman, Toehold | Travel & Photography will give you rental service. Thanks for the compliment. I am no more in the buying fever, happy with just 2 lenses thats 35mm f/1.8 and 70-200 f/2.8. Wish list has Tokina 11-16 f/2.8 and Sigma 120-300 f/2.8 but not very soon.

Hi Yajaman, I think Shaju pretty much answered your question. They have a good collection, you can try it out.

Wow, are you going for the show ? I have paid Rs.400 online, thinking of Feb 11th Friday to avoid the weekend crowd. I will carry 70-200 which should do a decent job. I lost your number, please PM me. :thumbs up

Chethan, you have to work out on the macro stuff, focusing is a tough job as you already know by now :), hope you used manual focusing, if not thats the way for macros !

@shaju - My kit is a humble Nikon D50 around 5 years old, 18-55kit, 70-300G lens (no vr) and the fabulous 50mm 1.8.
I was planning to go there on the 11th as well, the weekend would be too hectic.
We can meet up and head there.

Since this thread is for non auto images, posting a pic of my son taken over the weekend with the 50mm. The iso was set to high hence used Noiseware to reduce it.
