50mm is a king of portraits. Curious to know which noise ware you use.

Glad to know GD saab started his New Year spotting 'shy birds', but we want images from your 80-200 :D
Song of Innocence !

As the sunlight was hitting behind the subject, only spot metering could save my day ! I am yet to figure out how to control the overexposed vegetables.
@Shaju - The software is called Noiseware Community Edition (freeware). The 80-400mm is already rented out on the 11th of Feb so guess will use my 70-300mm G lens at the Air show. Lets me see how it performs.
Thanks buddy, means we will get to see all the toehold tele lenses at the airshow venue :) I am taking 70-200 f/2.8, also my 2X Teleconverter to avoid feeling lack of reach, that will give me max of 400mm at f/5.6. Its going to be bright day light, so shooting at f/8 and a shutter speed of 1/2000 or more should be a cake walk !
Hey Saju is street photography the flavor of the week/month/year :D
Pramod
Mr. Para... sorry Pramod :), nothing official about it. I am only trying to post 4 images per subject since many months, if you find a 5th image repeating the same, please kick me hard, I promise to be silent ! By the way, it was only the second time I was trying 'streets' after the Chennai trip last year.
When I started exploring this hobby, I thought to myself, birding is the way to go, because one can 'show-off' long and heavy lenses with mighty tripods and camouflage gear etc. But when you think about it, everybody is a birder these days. If I shoot a bee eater and proudly present somewhere, I find 100s of them shot at the same place.
People and street are different, because they are 10 times (or more ?) the number of birds in the universe :) Bangalore DSLR population is growing in such a way, there will be more photographers than subjects very soon !!!

Thanks again, I tried and find it too good for my purpose. This image is taken on a mobile cam (SE Vivaz) just an hour back from my terrace. Original is crap, Noise-ware made it atleast average ! Bit of blue enhancement is done on PS too.

Here comes the DSLR territory difference, I am sure these colors would be magical if D90 is used on a tripod with long exposure.
The bitter pill of life.
A moment so sweet.
And then its all engulfed into flames and eaten away.
- Comments Welcome.
Another shot from the rented macro lens. Shot in Rose garden at Lalbagh.
Highly overexposed. Killing the details a macro lens should be bringing out..

He he.. your last four images were from street and I was thinking soon we can kick you and then bang..! you posted a landscape :Frustrati
Jokes apart, I see the same pattern as far as composition is concerned, in all your photos of people especially from street - person on side of the frame focused well and rest of the space unfocused/bokeh. Try out some new angles, try wider focal lengths and post some awesome pictures buddy!

Hope you have started shooting RAW, then you can correct the exposure without sacrificing the quality. As a rule I mostly keep -1 or -1.5 at bright outdoors. It not only gives higher shutter speed but also controllable exposure at PP time. Still I am managing to get overexposed vegetables and leaves :) Boy's image above is -1 expo, dragged it down to -2 at PP, still its not good enough, need to learn layers, masking etc.

Yes SIR, I realize too much of bokeh is boring, will try posting something different.
How about this ? I never knew the sequence of things here, otherwise would have tried a higher shutter speed and freezing the rice in the air !
