These were all taken with a prime lens and not a zoom lens. It is a Nikon 35mm f 1.8 lens.

Just attended the Photofair and got myself manfrotto 190XPROB + 496RC2 in 13,050 (15% discount). Also got kingston sdhc class 4 16 gb card in 1200/-.

Attaching my only worth sharing click from the fair:

Clicked at Vedanthangal

I had been to Nandi hills yesterday. I am posting a landscape shot as well as a portrait I shot there. The landscape shot is a combination of 3 images to get a panorama. The color of the sky is as captured by my camera and I have not done any PP on it.

View from one of the highest points in Sri Lanka!

I am sorry that I haven't followed the thread for a while now so I don't know about your gear. Can you share what camera, what lens did you use to shoot this one? But ideally, you should have the shutter speed equal to the effective focal length of your setup. You can do it by opening up the aperture or increasing the ISO.

YAY, I saw the birthday boy cut the cake n all ;). The photo is not that sharp, not sure if you intended it that way? But I like the bokeh, 70-200 at it's best!
