Thanks guys. Gladiator (I always remember Russell Crowe whenever I type this word :) ), its reflective umbrella from the side, SB 600 in full power. You can see the umbrella circle in the eye ! I find kids to be the most difficult subject to shoot (tougher than macros), because they cant remain still for a second.
Here is one with the soft box. I like this natural expression. She was getting irritated with the flash firing !

50mm f/1.4 is glued to the body from the day it came home :)

You can use polarized lens filter to take off those lens flares. |
What kind of filter is this? Please elaborate.

He must have meant CPL.. :D But are they helpful in getting rid of the lens flares? I have read that inexpensive CPLs can actually add in more flares.

Ahh. Time to ask the Guru.
Rudra ji,
Can flares be eliminated without Photoshop?
P.S. To add, some very stunning photographs in the last page and a half. Speed_Gladiator, that shot of the paddy fields is one of the best shots I have seen of Kerala. Away from the beaches and backwaters and Munnar. Stunning. Shaju you have posted that picture of your daughter before. But it is good enough for a re-run. Kaushik, wonder snaps dude.

Ha ha, this is the problem when we see each other on Flickr and Facebook. Anyway for the record: its never posted here :), prove me wrong ! Both are clicked in March 2011 and I have posted very few images in the whole of March.
@shaju, no not in this thread, but in the DSLR thread or so. I could have sworn ... Anyway, damn!
@gopinathann, nice pictures, though I found them a bit too sunny! If there is any such thing. :D
I did not know where to post this - Auto or non-Auto. I like this thread better. This is a small scale replica of a Dodge Coronet.
Shot this today. 30 sec exposure
Two bridges together: one for walking and one for traffic.
Feedback welcome and appreciated! :)

Ok here is the deal, if you can find that image anywhere in the whole of team-bhp, I will give you my D90 FREEE !:D It was clicked on 16th March 2011. So its easy to do a quick search.

Naah dude. What I was saying is that I was so sure. The brain is a funny thing. Trust you on this one. :)
BTW, if you desperately want to get rid of your phone so that you can get a Full Frame, then that is a different issue. You can give me your D90 without much ado and tell your wife that certain complications are forcing you to go for a full frame. Heh heh.
P.S. I am not on Facebook. Flickr, flickr ...

Oh ok, now I got it, it was posted to Flickr on 16th March itself, you commented also, no wonder you got confused between this thread and Flickr :D
Enough ! | Flickr - Photo Sharing!
No buddy, I am not desperate to shift to FX, as long as we dont earn anything from our images, there is no point hurrying to full frame. If it comes, it comes, I am leaving to the natural flow of things. My 8th lens is 50mm f/1.4, tired of this buy and sell. Now I should behave matured enough to pick up what will stay in my bag. :thumbs up
