Some photographs from the Sunday shoot that I had.

^^ Love the blend of colors in the second shot! Can you give me a high quality version of that with height 800 pixels at least?

......@Clevermax, very well said about the composition. Without a good composition that moon shot is just another point and shoot shot of the moon taken by thousand of other people. What stands out is that well composed shot.

Please understand what I said is the same point clever mentioned in a mild way :) If it stopped another dozen moon shots from popping up here, I am happy !

Yes buddy, it was an eye opener to many things, an open house session, which I made sure Chethan also utilized. Dr.Prem is a down to earth, simple but hard working human being in his 60s. He spends 80% of the time in his US studio with projects and weekend training sessions and is different from any other trainers, he does not conduct workshops for an income, although he charges for his full day sessions. Thats to avoid any tom dick and harry barging into his house with a camera. He gave us free lunch and allowed us to handle all his lighting equipments (around 10 lakh worth lighting stuff). You know personally how 'attitude' driven PROs are around us in Bangalore. I just hate them. Some of them have very crappy images in their profiles, still head is held high like they own the digital world !

Treat for the eyes ! Wanting more...

Since nobody has posted anything related to Holi, and we have plenty of usual Holi images online, I am posting something of the previous night, called 'Chotti Holi'.

Its 50mm, f/2, ISO-1600
Posting an image with the face partially blurred, so I dont have an issue with my neighbor !

Wow! beautiful pictures Hellwrath, Shaju, Nutty et al.

Shaju,
I think we have touched upon moon pictures before. :D Totally with you on this issue. No offence to others.

Yep, had attended his workshop way back in Nov 2009. Learnt a lot about portrait lighting from his workshop, all the gyaan I used to give was from his workshop :D. Infact some of the photos that I clicked of a few friends (Suresh, Bala etc.) still have that photo as their facebook profile photo.

Well, I wish there were more, but I have discarded the remaining as I didn't like them as much.

This one is real nice Pawan. I like the composition and the way the moon is hidden by those clouds, very cool.

Thank you for the encouragement, Shaju. You are planning to come to Trivandrum? I will PM you my number, give me a call. It will be a pleasure to meet you. Also I like the tone in your above image.
Now for some pics of Krishnanattom performed at Thrikadavur Sri MahaDeva Temple, Kollam a few days ago. The same place that Pramod & Jk had earlier posted some pics. Shot with an 18-55 kit lens.
