50mm f/1.4 is glued to the body from the day it came home :)

Somehow I had a feeling as well, like I saw this photo earlier on this forum. But I think that photo was from Clevermax, with similler composition.

As long as we dont earn anything from our images, there is no point hurrying to full frame.

Sometime back I tried selling photos through stock photography. But it need atleast 4 hours a day to spend with stock photography site and shooting time extra and they pay very less. Though I was able to sell 2 photos out of 15.

Gokarnanatha Temple, Kudroli, Mangalore. Taken last evening.

Would have liked to get some of those people out of the picture but couldn't manage.

No PP except resizing on Irfanview.

Aaah, if only the electric line could just vanish...:Frustrati

The bane of photography - electric lines, telephone cables, satellite dishes and a general non-sense of aesthetics in India - is what frustrates me. There these beautiful buildings in Mumbai all marred by the inevitable black streak running all across the place.

Mystery resolved. Did you realize that I said phone instead of camera? :)

On the compulsion for a new camera, I think it is simply what I call 'lifestyle fatigue'. Can happen with cars, watches, shoes, shirts etc. wherein one tends to replace something even though there is still some life left in the older device. I started getting the itch for a full frame after just a month. But what keeps me sane is the following set of factors:
  1. The cost of a full frame
  2. The dread of facing a furious wife

Besides I don't think that I have gone through even 10% of the D-90s capabilities. So, before I go off topic, here is a shot taken during one of my Sunday afternoon strolls.

Beautiful pics, TypeOnegative (loved the colours), Robi (the roller looks so content and relaxed) and Mr.Boss (nice play of light and shade).

robi, stunning as usual.
Mr. Boss, that is so darned cute. Loved the symmetry as well.
Pawan, good concept, but I think the focus is off the flower and more on the nails. :)
pjay, thanks for your kind words.

I loved the 3d effect of the title board. However, wish it was straighter. Keep em comoing.

Pjay, I've an idea. You can easily clone out the electric line in the background since it is in the sky.

The electric line in the foreground can be cloned right upto the point where it seems to be touching the structure and then after the structure.

when you do so, the black line on the structure shall appear like a crack in the architecture adding mystery to it..
