Not actually , most of my shots using this lens are without tripod and are sharp. You need high shutter speed following atleast 1/Focal length rule.
Usually I keep 1/500 to 1/600 during daytime , If light is less use flash or use ISO1600. |
Thats good to know, let me try my luck.
@Amit26,
Thank you for the tips.
@no_enthu_da,
Beautiful picture. Favorited on Flickr.

Did you move to a beach house for good ?
While your gene is enjoying the sea, mine is in her 'dreamy' world :)

35mm, f/2.8, SB-600 bounce-off-wall ! Its not a fat-bum but a diaper :D

Aha, now I get it. What you mean is post processing. Well, that's not my cup of tea. I do not PP my photos. The only PP that I ever do is cropping and that's all.
I like my pictures as it is. If you shall see al my pictures in the past and acurrent they are minus PP.. |
IMHO, whenever you are taking a picture digitally there will be a need to do some amount of Post Processing. It is inevitable. If you are shooting jpeg then the camera's in-built logic would do that for you (but obviously that would not something what a photographer want). So while shooting RAW, the camera won't do any kind of processing and it's upto you to do that part and come up with an image that you've visualized. Obviously there would be debate on how much would too much as always.

What you have done to my picture looks great, but somehow I feel that the character is missing. |
What I feel is that he actually have added some character to the photograph. We may beg to differ but that's how I see it.

@Kaushik: These were the words I wanted to write exactly! In fact, I had also written the same points several pages (months) back, when we had a discussion on correcting lens originated imperfections in the image like CA.
@guyonblackybx: Very nice angle the second picture, but feels like a subject is lacking
thanks clevermax and shajufx :)
Shaju thats a cute picture.
Thought I would post some pictures from my recent kaziranga trip...other than birds!
Hey Robi, lovely photographs. These are from which range? Bagori or Konhora?
@ Robi Nice pictures.
One thing I(everyone) noticed with wild animals is that we need to be very patient , the front facing rhino is just stunning.
@ Robi Great shots.
Another one from my side,
