Bombay, a city that never sleeps, a city that never comes to a halt despite massive floods, multiple and severe terrorist attacks, a city of spirit, the city I love..... Seen here is the then under construction Phase 1 of the Bandra-Worli Sea Link, Bandra, Mahim Causeway, Worli, Malabar Hill, Colaba, Nariman Point, Backbay, and the rest of South Bombay. I was lucky to have been able to shoot this picture because the skies over Bombay are NEVER so clear, being heavily polluted with smoke, dust, haze and what not. Shot after liftoff from r/w 27, on-board an Emirates flight EK505 (Boeing 777-300, A6-EMT) en-route to Manchester. © Aalok Gaitonde. All rights reserved.
